Changing our atmosphere, changes our world
"The heavens are recounting the glory of El, and the atmosphere is telling the work of His hands. Day after day is uttering a saying, and night after night is disclosing knowledge. There is no audible saying, and there are no words; their voice is unheard. Yet into the entire earth their voice goes forth, and into the ends of the habitance their declarations. For the sun He has placed a tent in them" (Psalm 19:1-4 CV).
What is the glory of God the heavens are recounting?
Jesus speaks of this when He prays to the Father before going to Calvary in John 17. Let us read these together for they hold a necessary key to understanding our purpose and position in Christ:
1WHEN JESUS had spoken these things, He lifted up His eyes to heaven and said, Father, the hour has come. Glorify and exalt and honor and magnify Your Son, so that Your Son may glorify and extol and honor and magnify You.
2[Just as] You have granted Him power and authority over all flesh (all humankind), [now glorify Him] so that He may give eternal life to all whom You have given Him.
3And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent.
4I have glorified You down here on the earth by completing the work that You gave Me to do.
5And now, Father, glorify Me along with Yourself and restore Me to such majesty and honor in Your presence as I had with You before the world existed.
6I have manifested Your Name [I have revealed Your very Self, Your real Self] to the people whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me, and they have obeyed and kept Your word.
7Now [at last] they know and understand that all You have given Me belongs to You [is really and truly Yours].
8For the [uttered] words that You gave Me I have given them; and they have received and accepted [them] and have come to know positively and in reality [to believe with absolute assurance] that I came forth from Your presence, and they have believed and are convinced that You did send Me.
9I am praying for them. I am not praying (requesting) for the world, but for those You have given Me, for they belong to You.
10All [things that are] Mine are Yours, and all [things that are] Yours belong to Me; and I am glorified in (through) them. [They have done Me honor; in them My glory is achieved.]
11And [now] I am no more in the world, but these are [still] in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep in Your Name [in the knowledge of Yourself] those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We [are one].
12While I was with them, I kept and preserved them in Your Name [in the knowledge and worship of You]. Those You have given Me I guarded and protected, and not one of them has perished or is lost except the son of perdition [Judas Iscariot--the one who is now doomed to destruction, destined to be lost], that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
13And now I am coming to You; I say these things while I am still in the world, so that My joy may be made full and complete and perfect in them [that they may experience My delight fulfilled in them, that My enjoyment may be perfected in their own souls, that they may have My gladness within them, filling their hearts].
14I have given and delivered to them Your word (message) and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world [do not belong to the world], just as I am not of the world.
15I do not ask that You will take them out of the world, but that You will keep and protect them from the evil one.
16They are not of the world (worldly, belonging to the world), [just] as I am not of the world.
17Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth; Your Word is Truth.
18Just as You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
19And so for their sake and on their behalf I sanctify (dedicate, consecrate) Myself, that they also may be sanctified (dedicated, consecrated, made holy) in the Truth.
20Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching,
21That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me.
22I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one:
23I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.
24Father, I desire that they also whom You have entrusted to Me [as Your gift to Me] may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory, which You have given Me [Your love gift to Me]; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
25O just and righteous Father, although the world has not known You and has failed to recognize You and has never acknowledged You, I have known You [continually]; and these men understand and know that You have sent Me.
26I have made Your Name known to them and revealed Your character and Your very Self, and I will continue to make [You] known, that the love which You have bestowed upon Me may be in them [felt in their hearts] and that I [Myself] may be in them.
The prayer Jesus is praying to the Father is from Jesus, Son of God Son of Man.
We have been called into a global infusion as a many-membered body called Christ to fuse together as one body so that the world will experience the manifested presence of the tangible reality of Jesus Christ on the earth. "For we [no matter how] numerous we are, are one body, because we all partake of the one Bread [the One Whom the communion bread represents]" (1 Corinthians 10:17AMP).
Let us re-read John 17:21-23, "That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gave me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me."
Jesus Christ gave us the glory and honor that was given to Him by the Father so that we would be one with them. The pattern that was given is that Christ is in us and the Father is in Christ so that together we are perfectly united. In this position the world will know and recognize that the Father sent Jesus Christ because the Father loves each of us in the same respect as He loves Jesus Christ.
There is a union by fusion that creates when Jesus prayed in verse 23, "they may become one, be made one, and perfect (complete/finished) as one."
What is this glory of God that was given to Jesus Christ which He has given to us that we would be made perfect and one with Him and the Father? It is the weight or power and the Light of God that causes and brings change.
This prayer in John 17 is the WORD made flesh talking: Christ Jesus, Son of God/Son of Man.
In Genesis 1:2 when the WORD spoke and said, "Let there be Light and there was light." Here, the WORD is speaking again as one with the Father.
The Apostle Paul writes, "But to those who are called, whether Jew or Greek (Gentile), Christ [is] the Power of God and the Wisdom of God." (1 Corinthians 1:24). "That together you may [unanimously] with united hearts and one voice, praise and glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ" (Romans 15:6 AMP).
The power of God and the wisdom of God, Christ, becomes a man. Christ is the manifestation of the invisible God. In John 17 we have the WORD of GOD talking in the manifestation of the person Jesus in the flesh speaking the WORD into creation LIFE. Jesus is not just saying a spiritual prayer that sounds sweet and kind for others to hear, but He is decreeing a global fusion of LIFE as in Genesis 1:2, "Let there be LIGHT." This is the LIGHT that was lit before the sun, moon, and stars were created. This is glory, a fusion, a creation taking place.
Jesus Christ is talking about the glory of God that was before the world began (John 17: 5, 24). This glory is the Father's image; God Himself. Jesus is describing the science of creation of in the beginning before the world was formed. He is unveiling the LIGHT, the POWER, and the ENERGY that brought LIFE into a manifested, tangible form; the glory of God Himself in Christ Jesus is now given to us.
Let's read this again: "Unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God" (1 Corinthians 1:24). This power and wisdom became a person. They are the elements of God that create something new. This is the same power that came into our lives when we received Jesus Christ as our personal Savior and Redeemer bringing us back to our rightful inheritance to be one with the Father. This power and wisdom of God in us has the same ability to be manifested as resurrected LIFE in Christ today in our natural bodies.
"If we are in Christ we are a new creature: old things are passed away, dead, removed; behold, ALL things are NOW new" (2 Cor. 5:17). These are not just poetic words in a book. As part of the body of Jesus Christ, we are the brightness of His glory, the express image of His Person, the upholding of His WORD.
The Apostle Paul's writing to Philippi shares these thoughts in Philippians 3:8-11AMP:
"I count everything as loss compared to the possession of the priceless privilege (the overwhelming preciousness, the surpassing worth, and supreme advantage) of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord and of progressively becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him [of perceiving and recognizing and understanding Him more fully and clearly]. For His sake I have lost everything and consider it all to be mere rubbish (refuse, dregs), in order that I may win (gain) Christ (the Anointed One),
And that I may [actually] be found and known as in Him, not having any [self-achieved] righteousness that can be called my own, based on my obedience to the Law's demands (ritualistic uprightness and supposed right standing with God thus acquired), but possessing that [genuine righteousness] which comes through faith in Christ (the Anointed One), the [truly] right standing with God, which comes from God by [saving] faith.
[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]
That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body]."
The writer of Hebrews shares, "God in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Jesus Christ being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power;" (Hebrews 1:2-3a).
It is this same power that is Christ in you, the hope of glory to be manifested out of you while you are in your natural body for the world to see (Col. 1:27). If Christ is in you, you are a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17) with the same power and wisdom that Jesus had demonstrated on the earth to uphold all things by the power and wisdom of God in you. It is this same power that raised Jesus from the dead that is in you today. This power is the goodness of Christ and the LIFE of Christ seeded in you. "God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity, HIMSELF, in the human heart" (Eccl. 3:11a NLT).
Who do you say "I AM?" These two words are your identity with the Father through Jesus Christ. They carry the weight and the power in you to change the atmosphere of time and space. What we do with these two words will determine whether we create Life or Death for it is the words that follow "I AM" that will determine if we are sowing seeds of LIFE or seeds of death into our atmosphere and domain.
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof" (Proverbs 18:21).
"The fear of the LORD and the law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death" (Proverbs 13:14, 14:27).
When we accepted Jesus Christ as our personal savior we did not sit down and have a cup of coffee with Him. We did not visibly see Him walk into the room from an invisible place. We did not have a tangible experience that determined the evidence of accepting Jesus as our redeemer. Yet, we each personally experienced a transformation of our spirit quickened into a new life that was so real and personal to each of us that we know that we know. This power and wisdom of God that came into our lives was so real, though not visible or tangible, that it caused a change in our lives creating us into a new creation. These are spiritual elements that God uses to create and has given to us to change our atmosphere for His glory.
Peter writes about this in 2 Peter 3: 10-11, 17-18, "But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens (our hardened heart) will vanish (pass away) with a thunderous crash (the sound released when lightning strikes), and the [material] elements [of the universe] will be dissolved with fire (the presence of God), and the earth (carnal knowledge and understanding) and the works that are upon it will be burned up. Since all these things are thus in the process of being dissolved, what kind of person ought [each of] you to be [in the meanwhile] in consecrated and holy behavior and devout and godly qualities... Let me warn you therefore, beloved, that knowing these things beforehand, you should be on your guard, lest you be carried away by the error of lawless (judgment and condemnation) and wicked [persons and] fall from your own [present] firm condition [your own steadfastness of mind]. But grow in grace (undeserved favor, spiritual strength) and recognition and knowledge and understanding of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (the Messiah). To Him [be] glory (honor, majesty, and splendor) both now and to the day of eternity. Amen (so be it)!"
If Christ BE in you, then you are a new creation in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17). This didn't happen because you read the Bible, but because you experienced this fusion while you were in ignorance and darkness (Acts 26:18, 23). When we read the Scriptures, our spirit takes in a fresh breath of life which makes the Bible more than just a history book or a book of do's and do not's. The Scriptures themselves become alive to our spirit because it is a Spirit to spirit experience in conversation, an intimacy that brings transformation for us to be LIFE while in our earthen vessels. This is not for our own ego, but so that others that are spiraling in a pit of hopelessness are given HOPE by the presence of Christ radiating in our mortal bodies (2 Cor. 4:11).
The Apostle Paul refers to this as, "The LIGHT of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God" (2 Cor. 4:4). It is not the man Jesus from Galilee that we had a personal experience with, but the LIGHT of the glorious gospel of Christ who is the image of God that spoke into our darkness, confusion, ignorance, and face of our deep secrets and said, "LET THERE BE LIGHT." Then suddenly... our inner being is changed. Our heart was at peace and calmness that could not be explained. There is a joy coming out of our inner most being that moments earlier could only think of negative thoughts.
"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ" (2 Cor. 4:6). Paul is borrowing the words from Genesis 1 when he says "light to shine out of darkness." "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters" (Genesis 1:1-2).
The face gives identity. Paul continues in 2 Corinthians 4:7 saying, "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the Excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us." Paul continues in this chapter sharing the process of how we are being transformed daily into the resurrected LIFE of Jesus Christ while in our mortal bodies. This is not a someday experience when our natural body dies, but the scientific, life transforming power of the thought becoming the fact by the renewing of our minds.
"Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God" (Romans 12:2).
This treasure that Paul says within us is the Divine energy, LIGHT, power of Christ that is within us as our DNA given to us by our Heavenly Father. It is not of our carnal flesh and blood. "To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God" (Ephesians 3:10).
In 2 Corinthians 4:8-13, after Paul informs us that we have this power and wisdom of God in us, he continues by sharing the process of how spiritual fusion happens:
8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
12So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
13We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
This is a day to day occurrence that is taking place NOW in our mortal bodies so that:
14Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17For our light affliction (jobless, sickness, negatives in life), which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
This is spiritual fusion in operation. Verse 14 states that this is the power that raised Christ Jesus from the dead, and this same power is now working in your mortal body today to raise you from the death of the natural world! When Jesus died on the cross and raised again everything in the natural responded; the earth quaked. So it is within each of us. Our earthen vessels are quaking as Christ in us is being raised from the death of our mortal bodies.
The global environment is experiencing the impact of this heavenly fusion taking place around the world with the shifting and quaking of the earth as the heavens shift in the hearts of the sons of God. Creation is being changed! The person of Christ is the body of Christ of those chosen with Him, the cells of His body, before the foundation in which Jesus Christ is the head. The head needs the body, the ELOHIM, the completion of God to bring into the manifestation of the new creation of Christ Jesus.
The events happening around the world are a two-fold shift: The bringing down the towers of Baal (politics, race, gender, religion, ego control), which include Sodom and Gomorrah and the spirit of anti-Christ. "For thus saith the LORD of hosts; yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land" (Haggai 2:6).
Simultaneously, as Baal is coming down and the people are being brought to their knees, we will see revivals to turn to Almighty GOD as they seek Truth, the WAY, and the LIFE that will bring PEACE. "If my people, which are called by my name (I AM), shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face (Jesus Christ), and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their (earthen vessels, flesh) land" (2 Chronicles 7:14).
This healing will result in the manifestation of His glory filling the world as the waters cover the sea. "They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious" (Isaiah 11:9-10).
The intensity of people's daily life and death issues around the world is causing the stirring on the face of the deep (Genesis 1:2), and the love and passion of Christ in the heart of man (Eccl. 3:11) is creating a fusion of heaven and earth coming together. The manifestation of this is being seen by the global earth shifting as the atmosphere of cyberspace is being filled with the WORD of God. Our social networking capability is having a supernatural power touching the heart of the Father to move mountains.
This takes us back to John 17:23 when Jesus prayed, "I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me."
"Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God." (Deut. 18:13).
