"God said; Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so"(Gen. 1:26-30).
So often, we read the first chapter of the Bible found in Genesis as a history book not realizing the hidden blessings that are available for us today. I have highlighted some key words in verses 26-30 that have transforming power for those that have "ears to hear what the Spirit of God is saying."
v Replenish - build up again, stock or supply anew.
v Subdue - conquer and bring into subjection.
v Dominion - supreme authority (self-govern) ascendancy.
v Behold - must have a divine revelation to understand what God is saying.
None of the creations that God "says" in Genesis chapter one had been manifested or had form in the earth…yet. However, because of hindsight, we know of them today. In chapter one, God is telling man in the beginning that he (man) will replenish, subdue, and have dominion over these creations. From the very beginning, man was to be fruitful and multiply God. Whatever man was doing on the earth, God was doing.
In Genesis chapter two, the words "earth" and "dust/ground" are often interchanged in the interpretation. Scripture is not talking about the same thing. In the Strong's concordance, earth is #776, and ground/dust is #127. Man was not the dust, but in the dust. Man was first spirit, and then a manifested form.
"For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith" (Romans 1:17).
This is a hidden secret for those that declare themselves as Christians to manifest in their lives. Without faith, we can not please God. Adam did not believe he was god which caused the fall of all mankind. He did believe that if he did something, he could please God. The fact that he was even thinking those thoughts tells us Adam had already allowed temptation to have a hold (thinking like a natural man, trying to prove his identity). This is the way animals think. God created two classes on the earth: God class and Beast.
Adam lost the understanding of his identity in his mind, but he did not loose the DNA of God in his blood. When Adam named the woman "Eve," he confirmed in his mindset to be in the beast class because God told him to name the beast, not his god-kind. God did not give Adam the responsibility to give man a nature of identity; he was already created as a God-kind; created in the image of God (spirit, life, love, eternal). It is impossible to have two natures inside a child of God or to change a persons DNA from the Spirit of God to a fallen nature. This is an illusion of reality. God does not share His name, character, identity with any other class.
It was God's plan in Luke 2:7 for animals to surround Jesus at his birth. God came to bring man out of the animal class of illusion, and back to the God class where he belonged. God came in the form of Jesus Christ and walked this earth so that man could see what he was suppose to be re-identify as.
v Swaddling cloth - death garment, the cocoon of the caterpillar before transformation into the butterfly.
God spoke to Jesus through creation, as He does for all mankind, until He was baptized in the water and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him. After He heard God voice declare, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" (Matt. 3: 17), Jesus then took all things of the natural and places them under His authority.
"As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12).
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God" (Romans 8:14).
"Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure"(1 John 3:1-3).
Brothers and sisters in Christ, here we find the wisdom of God that brings transformation of all the negatives, confusions, and fears of the world into harmony and peace.
"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us! For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God's sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship]" (Romans 8:18-19 AMP).
Do you know who you are today in Christ Jesus, and with that knowledge, are you willing to be, "as He is, so are you in this world" (1 John 4:17) where you take all things of the natural and place them under His authority?
Are the words of our mouth acceptable to our identity as sons of God?
"Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth" (Proverbs. 4:5).
"All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them" (Proverbs. 8:8).
"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer" (Psalm 19:14).
"Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth" (Hosea 6:5).
God has given us the power to change this world, but we must know who we are in Christ. Then, with that knowing, we see others through the eyes and heart of God with His power and authority flowing through us as we are one in Him.
So, my brothers and sisters in Christ, I come before you this day and ask that we come together in the unity of the faith that has been given to us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I ask you to look to the heavens and see: Love, unity, peace, prosperity, harmony, and one in the family of God. We do NOT see in the heavens: fear, condemnation, and recession. We do not see political, economical, and religious chaos. We do not see poverty, sickness, disease, or even death. As sons of God, the body of Christ, let us come together and declare that "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall befree indeed"(John 8:36).
"God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord" (1 Cor. 1:9). "That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world" (Phil. 2:15).
"When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!" (John 19:26).
"But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all" (Gal. 4:26).
What do we find in the middle of JERUSALEM? "USA." A hidden mystery of sonship whom Jesus Christ has given power and authority to rise up as sons of God filling the earth with His glory. The United States of America was a country founded on being set free from all that is not in heaven, but we have turned it into a country of thieves and a lions den for the children to play in. We have allowed legalism of religion, domination of politics, and economic recession controlled by the media's tongue to bring fear, depression, and recession to a land that is suppose to be flowing with milk and honey as sons of God.
Rise up Oh warriors of God and declare this day the power of He who has risen and conquered death, hell, and the grave. Let us not be victims of what the news says, or allow our government to be dictated by the financial means of the politicians, but by the people of God who have been called by His name. Let us humble ourselves to come into the unity of His faith declaring, "through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear" (Heb. 11:3). Let us come out of our complacency and get passionate to be the ambassadors of our Heavenly Father taking back what the locusts have tried to rob from God's children. The earth belongs to our Heavenly Father, and the fullness of it. It is up to us to know who we are in Christ Jesus and allow the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts to be the voice of our Father that says it… and it is so.
