As we are living during a major celebration time called Passover, I was intrigued that this year it was celebrated by Christians in March, and Jews in April.
I'm sure this calendar issue has happened many times before in history, but for me, it stirred my thoughts of which one do I take part in? Maybe both to make sure I'm truly honoring Passover? Then what about resurrection? The moment in history that Jesus Christ redeemed man from death, hell, and the grave? Have I missed the Lord's feast of celebration if I honor this day in March as most churches will be doing?
When I presented these questions before the Lord, the Father said, "Both and all according to your hearts understand is correct? Then the Lord said for me to come up higher beyond the seasons and calendars of time. "I AM the Resurrection and the LIFE. I AM ETERNAL LOVE and LIGHT.
In the Old Testament, man was required to go to Mt. Zion in Jerusalem three times a year to honor and celebrate the Lord's Feast unto HIM. These feasts are Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles. For over 2000 years believers in Christ have celebrated Passover putting Jesus on the cross each year and then raising Him up on Easter with a salvation message for mankind that when we die a natural death we can have eternal life on the other side. At the same time, we take the old man, the no good sinner, and crucify him when we receive Jesus as our personal Savior, but then quickly do CPR since we're not really dead to ourselves. So we live the Christian life of someday I'll have eternal life, but while I'm in this natural body I can never be good enough, so I'll do good works to help me be righteous. This tends to be the best the church has done with the GOOD NEWS that Jesus commanded us to take to the lost.
Within the past couple hundred years we have become aware of the presence of the Holy Spirit and the fulfillment of Pentecost which in reality was complete during the time of Jesus. We have allowed our customs and traditions to dictate what God was doing placing limits and boundaries on the body of Christ. Yet, as we went through the season of Pentecost we have still not recognized
the pattern of the Lord's feast to move into the fall feasts and Tabernacles. Most of the
church is still justifying this season is to come, but what if it is already completed and we have simply been looking in the wrong direction?
While on the cross, Jesus said "It is finished." What did He finish? Passover, Pentecost, and/or Tabernacles? I asked these questions to the Father and He showed me a vision...
I AM the Resurrection and the Life! Most of the body of Christ, the bride of Christ, is trying to determine if they are a Martha or Mary. When death is at their door with the brother they loved, they still didn't get it. Martha was the voice of the thief on the cross that we often mimic, "When the resurrection comes someday, and Mary speaks out of the thief of our past, "If only." Both women loved Jesus, saw the miracles He released, listened to His messages, and followed Him, yet at deaths door they were missing something that could not bring LIFE to the one they loved. They didn't know Jesus as I AM.
The curtain entering into the Holy of Holies was torn from top to bottom on resurrection morning. God does not change. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. The torn curtain allowed man to boldly enter into the Father's presence, yet, the Father didn't lower the Holiness of His presence. Instead, He raised man up through the blood of Jesus Christ to BE Holy as He is in oneness in Christ. A mystery of Passover/Resurrection is that
the High Priest did not enter into the Holy of Holies is this season. He only
entered once a year on Yom Kippur in the fall season, not spring. Selah!
God is eternal. He is not bound by time or space or calendars. Tabernacles is coming into the presence of God in oneness looking up for our redemption is here now. The finished work of Jesus Christ begins in Tabernacles, the new creation in Christ. The old man is dead and gone.
There is nothing the Father is telling Jesus that He did not complete for all mankind.
Since God is not on a time table, we also experience Passover and Pentecost in the oneness of HIM, I AM at the same time. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as one in the second ADAM, Christ Jesus (1 Cor. 15).
Tabernacles is our birthing identity of who we are in the second Adam, where are you? (Genesis 3, 1 Corinthians 15).
Passover is our crossing over, feet washing experience, into the position of who we are in Christ, a royal priesthood, a peculiar people, and a Holy nation. Where we live, move, and have our being is in HIM.
Pentecost is the marriage of the bride of Christ with the Father's agreement of the Torah and both the bride and the groom drink from the
same cup. Out of our bellies flow rivers of Living waters carried to the heart, the throne room of the Father, and circumcision takes place with the bridegroom asking each of us, "Who do you say I AM," for how you see me will determine the creative power released in your words and what form the preparation of the bride will take place.
As we come into Tabernacles again, we come this time as a son or daughter of the Most High God with the mind and heart of Christ to rule and reign with Him. The earth is waiting for this moment which is here now ready to be released. The Kingdom of God that has been completed in the Heavens needs the body of Christ to rise up in oneness and unity of faith in Jesus Christ that Tabernacle together. Passover, and Pentecost have been complete and the Bridegroom is ready to take oneness with His bride, the church. In Peter's famous sermon in Acts 2, Joel's prophesy has been fulfilled. Peter's message was not simply a salvation message of dying and going to heaven, but "this is that," because He died once and for all, we don't have to, but we do have to be in a oneness of intimacy with the LIFE to know Him and the power of His resurrection.
Today we have been given the identity of Jesus Christ as one new man in Christ with many members. As HE is, so are we today, resurrection LIFE in HIM. We must first know Who Jesus is to us to know what power can be released by Him through us.
