After this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter. (Rev. 4:1)
The church is the doorway bringing access of things into the heavenly. Before this verse Jesus illustrates the fine tuning of that which belongs to His body, the church, and those things which do not. The first voice that John hears is like a trumpet that has a voice. This voice is a heavenly voice that is telling John to come up. John is not to discern by the way he understands with his mind, but to come up higher to God's ways of seeing things. He is immediately in the spirit, yet he is still on the earth. He didn't float off somewhere.
Verse 2 tells us that a throne is set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. John is experiencing the Holy of Holies as described in the Old Testament of the Tabernacle in the wilderness with Moses. Jesus is the door. In the OT the temple that God resided in was outside of man, but on the earth. Jesus brought the kingdom of God to reside within man (earth) when He breathed on the disciples and said Peace be unto (into) you; as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you (John 20-21). What Jesus is showing John is the veil has been torn into the presence of God. We no longer need to look out there somewhere for God, but to find His throne within. The church must give light by recognizing their true identity and power of being the light, the Sons of God as Adam was (Luke 3:38), and as Jesus is (Matt. 1:1). What is on the top is who you are. As Christ ones our mind is the same which is in Christ Jesus (Phil. 2:5). With the mind of Christ every thought is fact, (Prov.23:7). The question is not when something will happen, because God is not subject to time, but the fact that it is now completed in the heavens whether we see it or not. It is by our faith to acknowledge the completion, and the finished work for the manifestation to take place which is subject to His timing in the earth.
On the day of Calvary, the veil was rent from the top to the bottom (Matt 27:51). Heaven was brought to earth effecting all of creation including the dead in the graves. Transformation of the body of Christ to be manifested as the Sons of God must begin in the head where the problem is, not the feet. Have you ever asked yourself where did all those people that came out of the grave go to in Matt. 27 after Jesus rose from the dead? They couldn't die again. Or what about Lazarus being brought out of the grave? He truly died once, so he couldn't die again. That would really go against scripture that it is appointed unto man once to die and then the judgment. The judgment is they are alive, but where did they go after they rose and walked on the earth and ate with the mortals? (That's a rabbit trail to think about).
Back to the head and foot issue, to be carnally minded brings judgment and condemnation which brings destruction and death. There is no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus. To be in Christ Jesus you have His mind which is life and peace (Romans 8:1-11). Jesus Christ is the top, the mind, the husband. We are the body, the flesh and bone, the wife, the Woman……Selah. Ponder on each of these words that Jesus identifies us as. Think on the eternal expansion of these words of identity versus a time frame of literal significance. Do other scriptures come to mind where these words have been used by Jesus? The bones of Jesus are not to be broken, and the garment He wore was not to be rent apart for His garment has no beginning and no end. The veil of the natural temple did have to be torn from top to bottom to signify the finished work of the natural, and the doors opened to the heavens, the Holy of Holies on the earth.
God is perfecting a many member body to be manifested on this earth as the Sons of God. He that has the Son has the Father. As they see the Son, they see the Father……..Selah.
If you have the mind of God, then everything you look at should be with perfection (Heb. 4:1-4). It is not what goes into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.(Matt.15:11). The mouth has the ability to produce life or death by our words (Prov.18:21). When we speak by faith as our Father we produce life. When we speak our Father's word without faith adding emotions of doubt or insecurity of what our Father has said we take the "butt" that God created to be behind us and put it on our face. Sounds disgusting, yet that is how dramatic it is when we have the "see it to believe it" mentality. We bring legalism, judgment, and death to that which is suppose to produce life (Rev. 22:18-19).
We have been created in His Image, after His kind (Gen. 1:26). Our hearts should cry out that the words of our mouth and the meditations of our hearts to be acceptable to Him (Psalms 19:14). That as others see me, they see the Son, they see the Father (John 17:21-23). Who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (l Tim. 2:4-5). For this reason, we labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those that believe. That you may be blameless and harmless, the Sons of God without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom you shine as lights in the world (Phil. 2:15). For God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all (l John 1:5). As He is Light, so are we in this world today (1 John 4:17).
When we give to God the fullness and best of all that we are spirit, soul, and body, then God can give His best to us which is the anointing of unconditional love. It is this anointing that breaks the yoke of bondage of death, hell, and the grave (Isaiah 10:27). God loves you so much that while you were still in darkness and ignorance, He gave you His best of unconditional love (John 3:16). The time is now to give His best in you to His body that is still in darkness and ignorance so that when they see you, they see the Father's unconditional love.
May God bless you with His revelation of His word.
NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST!
BRING FORTH THE SONS OF GOD
"And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good? Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD's thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is. Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day. Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiff-necked. For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regarded not persons, nor takes reward" (Deuteronomy 10:12-17).
This was wisdom given to God's children to grow up which speaks to the body of Christ today! They knew about the physical act of circumcision which was necessary out of obedience to being a family member, but to circumcise the foreskin of the heart was a different issue. What is this foreskin? Foreskin is symbolic of carnal thinking which places a hindrance for the life of Christ in us to flow through the body. The cleansing blood of Jesus Christ is suppose to be flowing through all who have entered into the redemption of God's grace and mercy cleansing us from ALL unrighteousness. We have been given the opportunity to come boldly to our Father's throne since Calvary and sit with Him in heavenly places; yet many of us who call ourselves Christian are living our life with "clogged arteries," which is why there is so much sickness and disease in the body of Christ today. We are not discerning the Lord's body as Christ whom we are the many members with Jesus as the head. We have been given the "mind of Christ" to be kings and priests on this earth for His glory, yet many of us are still filling our hearts with judgment and condemnation that is not permissible to enter into the throne room of our Father.
"Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged" (1 Corinthians 11:27-31).
As we approach the time of a new beginning with the year 2007 I would like to challenge you to analyze your heart to see if the foreskin has truly been removed so that the WORD in you can be a river of LIFE for all past, present, and future. "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord" (Col. 3:15-16).
SPIRITUAL HEART STRESS TEST
1. Defiling Heart (make dirty, pollute) - Mark 7:14:23
2. Whorish Heart (practicing random sexual activities) - Ezekiel 6:9
3. Broken Heart (hurt) - Psalms 34:18
4. Heart of Strife (quarreling, discord, conflict) - James 3:14
39. Not allowing the blood of Jesus to cleanse you from ALL unrighteousness which tells God that the cross wasn't enough making yourself greater than the Father:
"For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD"(Jeremiah 30:17)
"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls" (1 Peter 2:24-25).
